Galashiels Scout Group

The Scout Association is represented in Galashiels under the banner of the Galashiels Scout Group.

The Scout Group operates from the Hayward Scout Centre, which is situated at No. 13 St John Street, Galashiels. Scouting activities are available to boys and girls from the age of 6 years and over. The following Scouting Sections are currently active:-
Beaver Colony:-
Thursday evenings 6.30 - 7.30pm Cub Scout Packs:-
Tuesday evenings 6.30 - 8.00pm
Wednesday evenings 6.30 - 8.00pm
Scout Troop:-
Friday evenings 7.00 - 9.00pm All Group meetings take place during school term times. The Scout Group is administered by an active committee who organise and run a variety of fundraising events throughout the year.

Recent events in which Galashiels Scout Group have taken part include:-
Trip to the local Pantomime (Beaver and Cub Scouts)
Beaver Scout Fun Day
Cub Scouts Night Hike
Group BBQ
Father and son camp (Cubs)
Ski-ing at Hillend (Scouts)
Millennium Camp (Beavers Cubs and Scouts)
