Galashiels Squash and Racketball Club
The Galashiels Squash and Racketball Sports and Social Club located in Abbotsford Terrace, Galashiels. New members always welcome and we cater for all standards.
The Galashiels Squash and Racketball Club is located in an unassuming building just off Abbotsford Terrace in Galashiels. The building houses two well maintained courts, one of which has an integral gas heater. Adjacent to the courts are male and female changing facilities equipped with showers and toilets.
On the upper level of the building is a recreation / social area. In this area we have kitchen facilities including tea and coffee making equipment, a fridge and an oven. We have ample comfortable seating and the whole area overlooks both courts with sliding windows providing unobstructed viewing of the courts.
We also have a table tennis table, with bats and balls, and a pool table.
All members are welcome to come down for a sociable knock around on Monday evenings. We play round robin format, typically 20 minutes per game or best of 3. Lights are on from 7.00 every Monday - the cost is £2 per person for members and £4 for non members to cover lighting. Similarly we also run a weekly Ladies Night, every Thursday night.
We run internal Leagues/Ladders and Competitions for both Squash AND Racketball.
